RentPERKS is an international property management company that manages properties in 44 cities across Canada. We do things differently and we aim to Make Renting Better. Anywhere.

We are looking for someone in the Hamilton area and its surrounds to help our team manage some of our properties. This is a good way to earn extra money and commission on top, in addition to other work you may have. Or simply for someone wanting to work a 2-3 days a week. We find that people with backgrounds in security services or property management or service are a strong fit. Our tasks include:

- open doors to the public and make sure nothing gets damaged or taken from the premises

- post notices to tenancy premises

- manage keys to allow people to move in or tradespeople access to premises

We pay a good rate per hour and also pay you 50c per mile for travel from your home.

Work hours vary - but we let you determine the times to open the homes! You will typically have one week’s notice to attend a home. The tasks include opening and then locking the property afterwards, as well as referring questions to our online tenancy expert/leasing officer.

You also will be given instructions for how people can apply and the benefits they can get with us at RentPERKS.

You can also get additional work with us by helping to inspect properties or doing basic maintenance tasks if you wish to. These are all relatively safe roles compared to typical security jobs as there is no danger.

We prefer security trained people. You would need to dress formally as part of your role - we do not have a uniform but would require neat and tidy clothing.
