Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience working on all make and models
- Required to have own tools
- Ability to use diagnostic computers and equipment when required
- Knowledge of diagnostics and repair of electrical components
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Must have a valid Ontario drivers license
- 310S Licensed is good
License/Certification:
- Drivers License (required)
- Journeyman 310S License (preferred)
Job Description
Midas, Inc. is an American chain of automotive service centers headquartered in Florida, USA. In the 17 other countries it operates in, the service centers are either licensed or franchised.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicles with accuracy and efficiency
- Inspection of customer vehicles (brakes, safety inspection, transmission, suspension, etc)
- Perform the tasks described in the repair orders efficiently and accurately.
- Diagnose the source of any malfunctions and perform repair.
- Use appropriate tools, test equipment, and report defective or poorly functioning equipment.
- Maintain and develop skill levels in repair and service of vehicles.
- Ensure that the shop is clean and tidy.
- Follow all Health and Safety guidelines
- Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 8.00 AM -6.00 PM
- Saturday 8.00 AM – 3.00 PM
Ability to commute/relocate:
- North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
