Class 1 Driver Job at Stronks Feedlot Ltd
Stronks Feedlot is a growing feedlot in Southern Alberta, Picture Butte area. We are seeking positive, self-motivated, experienced Class 1 drivers. Currently we are hiring full-time and part-time Class 1 drivers for hauling within Southern Alberta with flexibility to keep a balanced work and family lifestyle.
As a driver with Stronks Feedlot you will be able to operate the truck in a safe and responsible manner. Communicate with other staff in the planning of the daily work, maintenance and record keeping of the truck services and repairs and up to date with all service requirements.
Showing pride in what you do by keeping the truck clean inside and out and kept in good condition, pre/post-trip inspections. Maintaining the commitments for pickup and delivery schedules. Completing and submitting all paperwork weekly.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
1) Able to haul a super B, bale trailer, cattle liner, end dump, tri-drive & tandem
2) Time management, planning, and communication in English (emails, texting, in person)
3) Able to receive and interpret instructions from managers
4) Ability to read reports, interpret documents, safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals
5) Ability to solve basic problems that may arise on the job such as traffic or route changes
6) Ability to work independently as well as a team member
7) Two years experience working providing a driver’s abstract
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
