Stance Healthcare has an immediate opening for a CNC Machine Operator at our Stratford facility on a straight day shift.

Position Summary:

The CNC Machine Operator is an integral member of the Stance Healthcare Production team. The position requires a high degree of adaptability in order to keep up with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to communicate in a professional and positive manner with all other team members.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Reviewing scheduled job orders and priority lists
• Picking required materials for each order, using a forklift and/or manual material handling equipment
• Preparing and loading materials onto flat CNC bed
• Setting up and managing the machine to execute various tasks, making adjustments as necessary
• Overseeing the CNC machine during operation to ensure accuracy
• Trimming nested parts and organizing components out of the nested sheet
• Assembling components as needed
• Operating table saw and table router as required
• Maintaining a clean, safe work environment
• Performing pre-use checks and preventative maintenance as scheduled
• Other duties as assigned

As our ideal candidate, you’ll have:

• A minimum of 1 year experience operating a CNC machine
• Demonstrated mechanical capabilities/aptitude; experience using various hand tools/air tools/power tools, etc.
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent hand eye coordination
• A positive attitude & desire to learn
• Commitment to personal safety and safety of coworkers
