*Assistant Commercial Property Manager*

We are currently hiring for our client in Sudbury, Ontario is looking for an experienced Assistant Property Manager. The Assistant Property Manager will work closely with the Property Manager, Tenants and others to oversee all aspects of the building's maintenance and occupancy. Requires regular communication with Retail and Office Tenants and other team members to ensure on-time payment of rents and proper adherence to lease agreements, along with addressing tenant issues and physical property deficiencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring timely rent payments and following up on past due rent
  • Assisting in interviewing potential tenants
  • Assisting with property tours, tenant credit and reference checks
  • Administration of leases and management of tenant records
  • Working with tenants to resolve issues
  • Responding to emergency maintenance or safety calls
  • Identifying property maintenance and deficiency areas
  • Overseeing repairs and maintenance of the property
  • Provide direction to and oversee facilities staff
  • Working with the Property Manager and Head Office to resolve other issues
  • Assisting in preparation of annual property operational budgets and capital planning
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Knowledge of retail and office real estate assets
  • General knowledge of repairs and maintenance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
  • Ability to use maintenance management software
  • Ability to work individually as well as with a team

Location: Sudbury, ON

Salary: To commensurate with experience and includes health benefits

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Salary: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift

Experience:
