We are hiring! We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our growing workforce.
This position requires at least 5 years of industry experience, a CPA designation or equivalent, and excellent communication skills. Advanced knowledge of Sage, WFN, ADP, excel, word and outlook is an asset.

What you’ll do:
· Handle all aspects of in-house accounting including AR and AP, completing monthly, quarterly, and yearly government remittances and reporting
· Plan and control budget and expenditures
· Establish and implement accounting and human resource policies and procedure
· Project costing and tracking
· Complete bank and intercompany reconciliations
· Create monthly financial reports
· Maintain thorough electronic and paper filing systems
· Maintain strong, professional relationships with accountants, contractors, suppliers, and customers
· Human Resource duties include but are not limited to employee set-up, payroll, ROEs, WSIB, timeclock configuration, layoffs, leaves, vacation tracking, benefit enrollment
· Year-end reconciliations and schedule preparation for an outside accountant review engagement
· Provide administrative support to the executive team
· Complete special projects and perform other duties as required
What you bring:
· A Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation or equivalent accreditation
· Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting is an asset
· Computer literacy and proficiency in Sage, Microsoft Office, Word and Excel are required WFN and ADP are an asset but not a requirement
· A strong mastery of financial reporting and analysis
· A strong understanding of internal controls and GAAP principles
· Excellent technical, organization, management and communication skills
· Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy without supervision
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Self-starter, can work in a team and independently
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and take ownership of tasks and responsibilities
· Demonstrate a high degree of integrity, diplomacy, discretion, and confidentiality
· Past experience working with an ERP system in a manufacturing setting is an asset

The ideal candidate has experience working as a controller or in a financial capacity in the manufacturing or industrial industry. You have strong attention to detail. You enjoy working independently in a fast-paced environment. You are confident in your bookkeeping and accounting abilities. You are an ambitious self-starter who can work independently and provide continuous improvement to the accounting department, executive team and business owners.
When you will work:
Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. This position works out of the Head Office in Stevensville.
The salary for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 based on the successful candidate's knowledge, skills and experiences as outlined.
