Coordinator, Operations Effectiveness Job at SaskEnergy
SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Coordinator, Operations Effectiveness supports the delivery of work management processes at SaskEnergy, ensuring operational plans are aligned with the division’s direction and objectives. This includes provincial workload and capacity planning, coordination, and scheduling of operational workload. The Coordinator develops long term work and resource plans based on work identified by work management systems, planned maintenance work, integrity improvement programs and standard practice instructions.
Position Details

Non-union - This position is a permanent full time role.

This position is currently subject to a scope grievance, and may result in the position being within the bargaining unit (with corresponding changes to pay and benefits).
Key Accountabilities

Organize and prioritize the flow of work activities to Operations, in accordance with provincial standards.

Coordinate the compilation of operations work and resource plans that optimize utilization of available District/Area resources.

Communicate and coordinate with the Districts/Areas to ensure plans align with overall operational plans and that work groups are working toward a common set of priorities.

Develop systems for tracking projects and programs to plan, identify and schedule resources.

Coordinate with peer work groups to align schedules, resources, and objectives.

Provide support and training to staff on work management processes and tool sets.

Identify and participate in the development of business process improvements to enhance workload and capacity planning and forecasting capabilities at the Corporation.

Prepare routine work orders based upon a pre-defined schedule.

Other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
-
Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Science or Engineering or a related field.

Five (5) years general SaskEnergy/TransGas field experience with exposure to customer service, system maintenance and emergency response.

Ability to work on a team while building and maintaining effective relationships.

Must have a continuing record of professional development and continuous learning.
A suitable combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
Additional Information

Travel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters is required.
