Job description

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to the operation of Bingo and Vegas style cabinet games with an emphasis on maintaining a high standard of customer service. Duties also include cleaning, cash handling and the serving of alcohol. This position involves a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings and weekends. Advancement possible for suitable candidates. Rate of pay based upon assumed roles and responsibilities.

Principal duties include:

• Attending to customers in assigned area.
• Keeping gaming machines clean and in working order.
• Receiving payment for play on demand credits and making change if required.
• Maintain sales area and electronic equipment in an organized, clean manner at all times.
• Cashing out winning vouchers.
• Deal courteously with public.
• Other duties as assigned by hall manager.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Knowledge of cash handling and balancing of daily cash intake.
• Exceptional Customer Service skills.
• Good communication skills to deal effectively with staff and public.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred:

• Bilingual (French/English)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel)
• Smart Serve
