JOB TITLE: Dishwasher
LOCATION: City Centre Grille located at 1097 Langford Parkway, Victoria BC.
DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage Service
REPORTS TO: Kitchen Manager
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, the Dishwasher is responsible for the cleaning of the dishware in a timely, efficient, sanitary and consistent manner. The Employee must be prepared to work in a fast paced, high pressured work environment, while maintaining the organizational ability to identify and act on job duties quickly and effectively.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
- Clean tableware.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
- Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment.
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Store supplies or goods in kitchens or storage areas.
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
- Sweep or scrub floors.
- Preforms additional responsibilities, although not detailed as requested by Kitchen Manager or other managers/supervisors as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
