Moutcha Bay Resort is a remote destination dedicated to sustainable adventure tourism, located 2 hours west of Campbell River on Vancouver Island by road. We host guests from around the world and love to share our passion for saltwater sportfishing and other outdoor adventures.

Who you are:

• You have Food Safe Level 1
• You have experience with preparing cooking ingredients and basic cooking duties
• You have a good attention to detail, sanitation, and cleanliness
• You work quickly and accurately on assigned tasks
• You have good communication skills and work well on a team
• You have a desire to live and work in a beautiful remote setting
• You have the physical ability to lift up to 30lbs and work while walking or standing for prolonged periods

What you’ll be doing:

• You’ll wash and put away dishes in an organized and efficient manner
• You'll wash and sanitize the kitchen work area and equipment
• You'll prepare cooking ingredients, including washing, chopping and cutting
• You'll prepare dishes for cooking or serving
• You'll stock kitchen supplies in various stations
• You'll sort and remove recycling, trash, and compost
• You'll be working with a fantastic, passionate culinary team
• You'll be helping to create memorable guest experiences

Working with us:

We are seeking to fill 3 Dishwasher/Prep Cook positions. These positions have anticipated start dates of either May 15 or July 1, 2023. Their anticipated end dates are either August 31 or September 15, 2023. Contract length is subject to change based on the demands of the season.

Meals and staff accommodation are included in the employment package!
