Dispatcher (Nights) Job at Protrans Personnel Services Inc
On Behalf of our client, Midland Transportation. Protrans Personnel Services, is currently looking for a Dispatcher
What's In It for You?
- Pay Rate: $20.40/hour
- Hours of Work:
- 21:30 - 08:00
- Scheduled for 7 Shifts every 2 weeks including working every second weekend (continental scheduling)
- Access to a 100% free Health Clinic for non-urgent primary care is available to all Protrans employees in the Greater Moncton Area
- Paid Weekly on Fridays!
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a Dispatcher or similar role, or applicable education equivalent
- Comfortable using multiple software programs to navigate and troubleshoot customer shipping scenarios
- Ability to clearly & proficiently communicate (speak & comprehend) English
- Day-to-day communication, via phone and handheld, with an assigned fleet of drivers to ensure proper load instructions are passed along and carried out
- Line uploads to ensure the best time efficiency and load factor
- Manage service concerns, as required, to limit exposure and minimize impact to the customer
- Coordinate maintenance to city tractors and trailers
- Assist other dispatch staff as required during spikes in workload
- Assist other dispatch staff as required by preparing and analyzing various reports as required
