Eassons is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to join our team based in Moncton, New Brunswick, reporting to the VP of Human Resources. The successful candidate will be responsible being a strategic recruitment partner within the organization, focusing on hard to fill roles with a high degree of expertise. Eassons operates approximately 325 trucks and employs over 500 people. Eassons Transportation Group provides dry and temperature-controlled TL/LTL services across Canada and the United States.

Who You Are…

As the successful candidate, must leave in the monmcton area and have at least 2 years’ experience in Recruitment and/or Talent Acquisition and a relevant post-secondary education. You have demonstrated your capabilities in leading a portfolio that involves a high degree of participation on strategic initiatives. You are comfortable in a consultative role and can successfully leverage your relationship building expertise to drive change. You are a professional, adaptable, highly organized, detail oriented, solution-driven individual. You thrive in challenging roles where you are part of a high performing team. Previous experience recruiting within the Transportation industry and a working knowledge of the Truck Right System are considered strong assets.

What You Will Do...

Determination of recruitment requirements
Advertising
Adhere to Eassons hiring Polices
Administer Alcohol and Drug testing of new hires and random tested as required.
Facilitate driving tests for potential drivers
Representation at industry events including career fairs, trade schools, driving schools and trucks shows
Qualify drivers/reference checks, other
Travel to other terminals may be required
Participate in driver retention – constant contact with hires
Participate in/on-boarding of driver/orientation process
Detailed reporting, including recruitment metrics to determine optimal strategies
Create/oversee marketing/social media as related to the position
Qualifications

Above average organizational, planning and time management skills
Above average verbal and written communication skills
HR background an asset
Experience with LMIA process
