As a Project Manager within our Environmental Solution market, you’ll have the chance to manage projects that support the development and implementation of environmental compliance data management solutions for our industrial clients.
Based out of one of our Canadian offices, you’ll be working with other members of our team, you’ll be the face of Jacobs as you lead multi-discipline teams of client and consulting staff in developing enterprise environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance data management solutions. You and your teams will provide onsite and remote support to assist the client in defining environmental reporting needs and solution specifications and requirements. Bring your expertise in project management, EHS compliance, and information management as well as a desire to conserve our natural resources, and we’ll empower you to deliver the boldest solutions for our clients.
Here’s What You’ll Need:- Experience with environmental regulatory compliance.
- Project Management experience with delivery of small, medium, or large-scale client environmental compliance consulting projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or Sciences, including but not limited to Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree with an environmental focus.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
- Demonstrated business development and client service skills, including ability to participate in sales efforts, close deals, manage scope changes and write proposals.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience managing contracts, scopes of work, and project financials, including various metrics.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering projects on time and within budget that met client technical and quality expectations.
- Demonstrated project management and execution success on environmental compliance projects including implementation of work plans, setting budgets, and developing project schedules as well as proven experience in leading teams of technical specialists to develop sustainable environmental solutions with clients.
- Experience leading EHS software implementations, including design workshops, development, testing, and post-go-live support.
- Experience with ArcGIS, Cority/Enviance, ehsAI, Enablon, EQuIS, Gensuite, Intelex/ACTS, SerenityEHS, Sphera, and/or others.
- Regulatory familiarity with environmental reporting, spill prevention/planning, stormwater, water discharge, emissions, air modeling, waste generation and reduction, carbon reporting, safety events and near misses, injury/illness reporting, EHS risk management, process safety management, health and safety reporting, industrial hygiene, occupational health, internal and regulatory auditing.
- Experience with and understanding of different project management methodologies (e.g., Agile / Scrum, Waterfall).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
