Role Purpose

To safely operating heavy equipment in the open pit mining environment, supporting the movement of ore and waste rock to designated areas.

We are seeking an individual for a Fly In, Fly Out opportunity working on a two weeks in, two weeks out rotation.

Accountabilities:

A strong commitment and adherence to all site safe work procedures and policies. Show zero tolerance for noncompliance of safe work procedures. Report all unsafe acts or near misses.

Qualifications & Experience:

A minimum of 1-3 years experience operating heavy equipment in a open pit mining environment. Equipment experience in D-10 dozers, 16M/24M graders, Rubber Tire Dozer, small loaders 950-988, small excavators 470-870. Able to work on a rotational shift 12hrs per day 14 on and 14 off. Perform pre trip inspections on heavy equipment. Able to perform tasks in extreme weather conditions.
