Along with project and site managers in Kaslo, and in the new Kimberley operation, Eisenhauer Woodworks Inc. employs a highly skilled and communicative crew of between eight and twelve, years round. We craft homes, structures, commercial spaces, renovations and extraordinary woodworking.

The owner and founder, Jeremy Eisenhauer, has trained at the Inside Passage Fine Woodworking school. Informed and inspired by the school’s reverence of the Japanese concept of Wabi-Sabi, Eisenhauer has instilled that same aesthetic worldview that shows appreciation for natural objects, the forces of nature and beauty, in all of the firm’s team, and their work.

Three immediate job openings for carpenters. Preferably Red Seal certified, or a minimum of three years of experience. We are looking for professionals who take pride in their work and appreciate the intricate details.

Responsibilities:

• Comprehend drawings and plans to prepare layouts.
• Ability to select materials and plan work tasks in time-sensitive projects
• Self-check that completed work is accurate to the requirements needed
• Ability to work from heights

Requirements:

• Preferred Red Seal Certification in carpentry
• Non-Red Seal carpenters must have three years or more of experience in the carpentry trade
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks

Work Conditions:

• Vehicle transportation required, projects are located in the surrounding areas of Cranbrook & Kimberley, BC
• Monday to Friday, day shifts, with the possibility of overtime

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
