We are searching for a Facilities Engineer to support the AB and SK assets for a large International Oil & Gas producer. You will be joining a team of facility and operations engineers, air emissions specialists, and in-house drafting services. The head office is based in Calgary. Regular site visits to the Alberta operational facility are required. The company offers a hybrid work model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Workign with the asset and operational teams to lead engineering, design, and construction of new well equipment and tie-ins in the province of Alberta
- Execture infrastructure projects including facility expansions and major pipelines
- Suppor long-term development plans through capacity assessments, cost and scheduling estimates
- Provide status updates on key projects
- Mentor junior engineers
- Be a safety champion and a strong safety ambassador promoting the safety program
- Advise and provide technical advice as it relates to Management of Change (MoC) projects
Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working in the Oil & Gas industry, preferences will be given to those with Conventional O&G experience with a producer or EPCM
- Engineering Degree or Engineering Technology Diploma, preference to mechanical, chemical or petroleum
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with APEGA, or immediate eligibility to register as a P.Eng or a P.Tech or CET designations
- Fully versed in AER, ABSA, CSA, ASME codes and regulations
- Must be eligible to work in Canada without requiring sponsorship
- Must be based in Calgary, or willing to relocate
- Must be willing to travel to the field locations in Alberta and Saskatchewan as required to support the operations
