Currently we are hiring local Forklift Operators and Loader Operators for projects in Skookumchuk, BC. Applicants must be able to get to the worksite as travel and LOA is not provided. Applicants must be physically capable of performing labour and standing for long periods. Priority will be given to individuals with active tickets that apply to the job.
Responsibilities
- Assisting clamp truck operators
- Moving material from 1 location to another in a safe manner
- Participate in all pre-job and daily tailgate meetings
- Responsible for performing labour duties
- Assess work-site hazards
- Communicate all hazards and conditions involved in the work site with Supervisor
Qualifications
- Experienced forklift operator with 1-2 years experience
- Possess reliable transportation to get to and from site
- Must have a personal cellphone as well as basic computer knowledge
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Must speak and write English fluently
- Must provide own ankle covering steel toed boots
- OFA 1 considered an asset but not required
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Salary: $32.08 per hour
