Construction General Labourer

Green Cedar Homes is a Custom Home builder in Calgary, Chestermere, Langdon and Cochrane! We are growing and building in more communities which means we are seeking a Construction General Labourer. Attention to detail, quality, & craftsmanship is what we are all about so having a passion for a perfectly built home is what we are looking for. We are looking for a responsible self-starter with new home construction experience and/or fulfilling a labourer role to assist our construction team. Knowledge of power tools and equipment is an asset. Must value collaboration, work well with others, and understand the role as a crucial member of a team.

The Position:

The Construction General Labourer’s primary responsibility is to assist the site construction team in constructing housing units to Green Cedar Homes high standard of quality and workmanship.

Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Perform comprehensive house cleaning duties on the interior and exterior of homes to ensure the home is clean and presentable at all times.
• Maintain a professional project site by collecting garbage and ensuring garbage collection bins are used efficiently.
• Pressure wash cleaning of Driveway, Deck, Patios, sidewalk, and Garage upon house completion and possessions
• Setup Construction Fencing to secure job sites
• Assist project site team members upon request by fulfilling all work requests.

Job Qualifications:

• A minimum of one year of new home construction experience and/or fulfilling a labourer role.
• Knowledge of power tools is an asset
• Manual lifting is a requirement
• Solid communication skills
• Strong work ethic, high standards, and a sense of personal accountability and ownership.

Education:

• High school or equivalent

Experience:

• Minimum one year of new home construction experience and/or fulfilling a Labourer role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
