GENERAL PLANT 2
NORTERA Lethbridge is a manufacturing facility that processes and packages frozen vegetables. We harvest peas and corn locally as well as package different frozen vegetables grown in different regions.
We are currently accepting applications for part time General Plant 2 positions.

Your daily role
- Work in a high paced packaging / production environment
- Transport and distribute materials and goods to storage areas in a safe manner
- Operate computerized inventory control systems
- Make labels and attach to goods
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Maintain safe procedures
- Other general production duties as required
Your profile
- Ability to lift or move equipment / materials weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Endure cold environment
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively as a part of a team
- Good oral and written communication
- Safe working procedures upheld
- Excellent hand eye coordination
- Be able to work under limited supervision
- Good problem solving skills
- Comply with health and safety standards and requirements
- Ensures proper use of PPEs and hazard controls in place
- Willingness to work days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Forklift experience is considered an asset
Hours:
on average 32 to 40 hours a week.
