Moutcha Bay Resort is a remote destination dedicated to sustainable adventure tourism, located 2 hours west of Campbell River on Vancouver Island by road. We host guests from around the world and love to share our passion for saltwater sportfishing and other outdoor adventures.
Who you are:
- You have a valid driver's license
- You have experience with landscaping, power, and hand tools
- You have the physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and work while standing/walking/crouching/kneeling for prolonged periods
- You enjoy landscaping and general maintenance work and being outdoors in changing weather
- You've got great communication skills and like to work as part of a team
What you’ll be doing:
- You'll help to maintain resort equipment, systems, vehicles, and infrastructure
- You'll perform landscaping projects as needed, such as raking, weeding, and planting
- You'll be maintaining trails and roadways
- You'll be cleaning campsites
- You'll be checking and filling propane and diesel fuel
- You'll be helping to unload deliveries
- You'll be managing garbage, recycling, and compost
Working with us:
We are seeking to fill 3 Groundskeeper positions. These positions have an anticipated start date of between May 15 and July 1, 2023. Their anticipated end date is between August 31 and September 30, 2023. Contract length is subject to change based on the demands of the season.
Meals and staff accommodation are included in the employment package!
