Guest Services Agent Job at Country Inn and Suites By Radisson
- Perform above and beyond for all guests, fellow team members and management.
- Perform balancing of cash reports and daily departmental shift audits and reconcile credit accounts.
- Trouble shoots and resolves any outstanding errors in each department.
- Compile daily financials into a Daily Revenue Report.
- Complete the rollover process within the Property Management system.
- Ensure all reports are distributed accordingly.
- Perform as Manager on Duty.
- Responsible for the ongoing training of new team members.
- Ensure that errors are documented and passed to the appropriate department head.
- Closing of Batches through the credit terminals.
- Responsible for the Manager on Duty float and provide additional monies to various departments with proper documentation completed.
- Ensure all pertinent information is passed to oncoming shifts and receive from outgoing shifts.
- Responsible for cash float and proper forms to be always utilized.
- Proper usages of Checklists to ensure all duties are complete.
- Greeting of guests upon check-in, utilize guests name and ensure proper eye contact is made.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the Front Desk, back office and business center.
- Proper communication regarding our guests/clients’ needs with Bell, Reservations and Front Desk.
- Observes the Front Desk operating systems and correspond any issues in a timely manor.
- Resolve guest(s) issues to the best of your ability and document within a log book.
- Ensure all memo’s, schedules and/or important internal documents are initialed after you have read and understood.
- Can identify any enhancements to the department that is in direct reflection of our guests, fellow team and management’s perception.
- Attend mandatory Front Office and Accounting meetings.
- Other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager, Director of Rooms Division and the Accounting office.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday

- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
