Home Delivery Driver Job at Farmac Carriers
Farmac Carriers Ltd. is a transportation company based out of Sydney, NS. We are currently looking for Home Delivery workers to join our team. This position is customer service oriented, and requires a high level of interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Experience in heavy lifting furniture or appliances considered an asset.
This is a year round, permanent position. Open to Canadian residents only.
Responsibilities:
- Driving a Delivery Truck (2 person delivery truck)
- Home deliveries and appliance set up, training provided. (Home deliveries made to all areas of Cape Breton + occasionally outside of Cape Breton)
- Load & unload deliveries through a variety of mechanisms & delivery assistance devices.
- Performing all customer tasks politely and professionally.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Clean driving record.
- Clean criminal record.
- Must be able to work long hours.
- Ability to multitask and complete duties in a timely/efficient manner.
- Reliable and strong work ethic.
- Must have good listening and verbal communication skills.
- This position requires a strong attention to detail as well as a high level of interpersonal and relationship-building skills, customer-focused.

- $21.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday: 8 - 10 hour shifts
A co-share benefits package is offered with this position.
