BGL Contractors is a multi-trade contractor with projects in the commercial, industrial, water and wastewater fields. Our head office is in Waterloo, ON but we have projects located all over Ontario. We offer many benefits including a flexible benefit plan, RRSP matching and a gym membership.
We are currently looking for full-time licensed millwrights and millwright apprentices to join our team. All applicants should be willing to travel to projects across Ontario.
Qualifications:
- Industrial Millwright trade license
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
- Repair or replace defective machinery parts
- Fabricate parts required during overhaul
- Perform maintenance on pumps (centrifugal, submersible, progressive cavity, etc.), mixers and gearboxes
- Perform SMAW welding technique, all position is an asset
Experience with water and wastewater treatments plants is an asset.
Working at heights is an asset.
This position has many working conditions and physical demands. Applicants should be willing to work indoors in a variety of conditions (noisy, dusty, hot) and outdoors in all weather. Work may need to be performed in confined spaces or at heights (any required training will be provided).
Wage will be determined based on experience.
