We are are looking for a reliable, hardworking, ambitious, strong and healthy individual to perform skillful service and handyman/woman work in and around the Edmonton Area.

Do you have the skill and experience in installing appliances in residential and commercial environments? Are you able to work alone and as part of a team? Are you comfortable taking charge and leading/directing others?

Responsibilities

• Estimate labour and material costs, as well as maintain required inventory and provide reports to the project manager for each project
• Be able to work on several projects during a day, moving between sites as required
• Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
• Install appliances, such as refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers etc.
• Work within building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
• Instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers
• Use our project management software to clock in/out of projects, complete reports including supporting pictures, communicate with project manager for each project etc.

Your Skills and Assets

• 5 - 10 years’ experience in general building construction, repairs and maintenance - residential and/or commercial
• Intermediate plumbing and handyman skills required
• Experience operating skid steers, telehandlers and forklifts an asset
• Must possess a valid provincial driver’s license and have a reliable vehicle with a clean driver abstract
• Must have CSA rated steel-toed footwear
• Possess a keen ability to recognize problems, and create an effective course of action to solve the issue
• Have excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
• Self-directed with the ability to effectively manage your time and resources to ensure deadlines are met

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
