Internship - Desktop Support Job at Tennis Canada
What are we looking for?
This position will involve working with the IT department in Toronto, providing day-to-day IT support as a well- intensive preparation for National Bank Open presented by Rogers. Reporting to the Senior System Administrator, your main responsibilities will include:
- Basic networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, wireless networking, cramping network cables)
- Software Support/Configuration (Windows, Office 365 Suite)
- Operating System Support/Configuration (Win10, OSX)
- Installing and maintaining hardware and computer equipment
- Smartphone Support (iOS)
- Hardware Deployment (Workstations, Cisco IP phones, Printers, CAT5e)
- Inventory and rental equipment management
- Documentation of IT processes and setup
- IT setup and teardown for National Bank Open
- Other duties as outlined by supervisor.

Working conditions
- Must have full-time availability.
- Honorarium of $16-$18/hour.
- Term of the internship: Monday, April 3, 2023, to Friday, August 18, 2023, inclusive.
- Must be available during National Bank Open (August 5 – 13, 2023)
- Some evening and weekend work are required and extended hours will occur during National Bank Open
