We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Front-end Developer to join our team to help us drive innovation at BrainFinance. This role will involve the active development of several projects including a public-facing website and a custom React component library. The ideal candidate needs to be a self-starter, driven to learn new technologies and contribute to the success of the team.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain, assess, and create Web sites using React with Typescript;
• Build reusable cross-platform components and front-end libraries for future use;
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code;
• Offer constructive and respectful feedback during code reviews;
• Research and promote design patterns and practices that fit our technical challenges.

What You’ll Be Bringing to The Team:

• Over 6 years of experience in front-end development, React, JavaScript and Typescript;
• Strong HTML and "responsive design" skills;
• Familiarities with Next.js and GraphQL;
• Familiarity with REST APIs;
• Familiarity with VSCode, Git, and Bitbucket;
• Strong understanding of SDLC;
• Passionate about new technologies;
• Must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision;
• As we provide the majority of our services in 7 provinces in Canada, the candidate must be able to communicate effectively in English to fulfill their duties.

Nice-to-have Experience:

• Experience with Typescript, CSS/Tailwind CSS, GitHub or Vercel/Netlify.

• Monday to Friday
