Welch LLP is currently looking for an Invoicing/Administrative Assistant to join our office in Belleville. You must be able to handle a variety of responsibilities in a professional manner, working on multiple assignments with a high degree of autonomy over your work and producing high-quality deliverables with short deadlines. Attention to detail, a desire to improve your skills and an attitude of accountability are traits that will lead to success in this position

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist Partner/Manager in the timely invoicing of services

2. Manage WIP

3. Backup for bookkeepers, reception and tax return compiler

4. Office Support

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College diploma in the field of business administration or bookkeeping
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in office administration.
  • In-depth understanding of office management procedures.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of CaseWare and Profile would be an asset
  • Attention to detail, a desire to continually improve your skills and an attitude of accountability are traits that will lead to success in this position
  • Willing to work in Belleville, Ontario and occasionally assist in other Welch offices in Quinte Region as needed
  • Ability to work overtime as needed to accommodate client needs
