Job Summary

Your main duties will be mechanical design and drafting. You will be expected to demonstrate initiative in the execution of your work. You will be able to solve problems with supervisory input from lead engineers and senior design staff.

Education Requirements

· CAD/CAM Engineering Technology Diploma from a recognized institution.

· Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma from a recognized institution.

· Computer Aided Design & Drafting Technology Diploma from a recognized institution.

Qualifications and Skills

This position requires significant time management capabilities.

Candidates who demonstrate vision and enthusiasm for their work will be supported in taking the company's business into new areas of interest.

Key Knowledge and Experience

No industry experience is required for this position. Experience working in the consulting field with practice in design, drafting and 3D CAD would be an asset. Heavy industrial exposure would also be an asset, especially in the area of mining and, more specifically, potash mining.

Specialized experience in the following software would also be considered an asset; AutoCAD (2D and 3D), Inventor, and Microsoft Office products.

Time

We have normal hours of business and every employee will need to work a minimum of 40 hours per week excluding personal time needs (vacation, sick, bereavement, banked time, etc.). In consulting there are always busier times and slower times. When things get busy there will be a requirement to work over time so that we can get the job done and meet our client’s needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $54,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
