Summary:

We are looking for a hard-working Licensed Electrician's to join our maintenance team. The Electrician is responsible for performing maintenance on plant equipment and machinery as needed. The successful candidate will report to the maintenance Supervisor preforming tasks as required in an efficient and effective manner.

A successful candidate will show a real desire and ability to work with the maintenance team to ensure and maintain the operations of the plant.

Accountabilities:

• Preform mechanical and electrical functions in a manufacturing environment.
• Assist in the installation of any new equipment or projects.
• Prevent premature breakdown of the equipment used in production and operate the facility through continual preventative maintenance.
• Use a computerized maintenance management system to preform job tasks.
• Communicate and collaborate with other employees to resolve electrical issues.
• Troubleshoot, prioritize, and organize job tasks.
• Understand PLC Installations, integration, improvements, modifications and start ups for the production line.
• Troubleshoot PLC drivers and controls.
• Comply with Company safety rules, and OHSA regulations.

Requirements:

• Must hold a 442A Industrial Electrician License or be working towards.
• Must possess strong trouble shooting, communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to interpret electrical drawings/blueprints.
• Experience with PLC programming is considered an asset.
• Must be willing to obtain/maintain a towmotor license, working from heights certificate, fall arrest, crane license, first aid certification.
• Must have a valid G driver’s license.
• Good computer skills, good working knowledge of most Microsoft programs.
