LOGISTICS ANALYST

Cavendish Farms is a leading producer of frozen food products for retail and foodservice markets throughout Canada, the United States, and around the world. We have state-of-the-art potato processing plants in Prince Edward Island, Lethbridge, Alberta, and Jamestown, North Dakota, and an appetizer plant in Wheatley, Ontario. Our Head office is in Dieppe, New Brunswick and has sales office locations in Toronto, Montreal, and Boston.

Reporting to the Logistics Analytics Lead, the successful candidate must thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing environment, while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and detail. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a "can do" attitude. The successful candidate will play a key role in the Supply Chain Department at Cavendish Farms.

Successful Candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• University degree or College diploma preferred
• 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred
• Team player with excellent customer service and strong communication skills
• Strong financial acumen
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite of applications
• Attention to detail, data integrity, and accuracy

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Logistics cost reduction initiatives
• Identify cost saving opportunities through detailed analysis of supply chain financials
• Manage carrier claims
• Responsible for managing temperature alarmed loads
• Run various integrity reports to ensure proper control
• Support dashboarding and period end processes
