Maintenance Worker Job at The Castle at Swan Lake Hotel
The Castle at Swan Lake Hotel Vernon, BC
The Castle at Swan Lake Hotel is looking to add to the Maintenance Team. Duties can include, but are not limited to:
- Grounds maintenance, weeding, pruning, planting, mowing, sweeping, power washing and general landscaping
- Minor plumbing such as fixture repair/replacement, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
- TV/Cable troubleshooting, electronic lock replacement/troubleshooting, Kitchen appliance troubleshooting
- Drywall cutting/repair/installation, Furniture repair
- Light fixture installation/troubleshooting,
- Moving furniture and appliances, assisting guests with luggage and room complaints
- Assisting Housekeeping and Front Desk
- Prioritize work items to best benefit the hotel and the guests, inform management of items that need to be ordered and projects that need to be considered.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Vernon, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
