This posting is for a Marketing and Client Experience Coordinator.

Innova is looking for a new team member who would focus on marketing/advertising, Client experience, and assist in coordinating regular events.

The ideal candidate is smart, friendly, a great conversationalist, artistic, creative, social-media savvy, and a party planner with a good eye for detail and a love for good food. The ultimate goal of this position is to actively seek opportunities to create memorable client experiences.

Innova Private Wealth is a financial advisory firm that specializes in a 360° analysis of our customers’ financial profiles, including investments, insurance, estate and retirement planning, and taxes. As independent financial generalists, we offer specialized products and exceptional customer service while maintaining our “Big City Expertise, Small Town Service” standard.

One of our greatest achievements thus far is the launch of the first private pooled fund in Northern Ontario, wholly run and operated by Northern Ontarian portfolio managers who were born and raised in Sudbury. This fund provides access to investment products that are not available to average investors and improves the local investment opportunities. Furthermore, we also pride ourselves on our bilingual services which is a key feature of our northern communities.

Our close-knit team of advisors support each other with a wide range of expertise to create comprehensive financial plans for our customers, leading to our stewardship of more than $350 million in investments. We are now looking to welcome new team members who wish to build their careers in our dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Specifically, we are looking for someone to help with:

Graphic Design

  • Generate monthly newsletters, including content and design in MailChimp
  • Manage printing & distribution of marketing materials, including quarterly reports

Managed advertising placements, including:

  • Billboards
  • TV
  • Radio
  • Google Ads

Website Design

  • Work with our web developer to improve our site
  • Coordinate timely updates to the site
  • Update site as needed using Joomla, or coordinate with development team

Coordinating Innova’s social media presence

  • Create consistent and sustainable processes
  • Coordinate out-reach campaigns
  • Develop and maintain a professional online brand

Develop YouTube content

  • Coordinate content writing, either writing themselves or outsourcing it
  • Work with team members to produce monthly content (ex: webinar on Estate Planning)
  • Lead post-production development to ensure highest quality

Organizing Client appreciation events

  • Bringing in experts for cooking classes, wine tastings, etc., golf events, Kivi Park events, Toronto events including dinner + theatre
  • We have hosted a wide variety of Client events, and are always looking for something creative, fun, and that people will want to tell their friends about!
  • We aim to do at least 1 in Toronto, 1 in Sudbury, and 1 virtual event per year, possibly more

Client gifts

  • Coordinating gifts for major Client life-events and milestones, such as:Referral thank-yous

Client illnesses
The loss of loved ones, etc.
Birthdays & anniversaries
Years as a Client with us
When they reach certain number of assets under administration
When their kids go to post-secondary, etc.

  • Researching and sourcing innovative gifts that go beyond traditional gift baskets

New Client Process

  • Improve the onboarding process as the warm friendly voice that welcomes Clients and guides them through the process
  • Take the Client experience beyond just emails
  • Organizing and sending out welcome packages and thank-you letters as follow-ups to initial meetings
  • Brainstorm and coordinate packages that could go out before an initial meeting

Personalized Client reach outs

  • Call Clients quarterly and chat on the phone, getting to know them and building their relationship with us, making sure they feel appreciated and listened to
  • Document key facts about the Clients to help the advisors build the relationship further ... "I hear your grandson is playing a lot of hockey these days", etc.

Coordinating quarterly investor seminars

  • Set schedules
  • Identify speakers
  • Promote online
  • Host in-person and virtual events

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Preferably college or university educated
  • Strong spelling & good vocabulary
  • Comfortable with public speaking
  • Negotiating skills
  • Time management
  • French considered a strong asset

Work Remotely

  • Part-time remote work possible
