Key Requirements
  • Must be able to commute to Bolton
  • Must be Computer savvy
  • Experience with a Crane and Forklift an asset (however Husky will train)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:


Focus on Final Product Packing and Crating

  • Reviewing Bills of Material (BOM) in Baan ERP to ensure packing accuracy
  • Use of MS Office tools such as Outlook and Excel
  • Use of hand tools such as nail guns, radial saw, tape guns, labelling etc.
  • Use of cranes for crating – Training will be provided
  • Working with 2x4 wood, skids and plywood during the packing process
  • Ability to use forklifts and Cranes to material handle Husky product during the packing process.
  • Working with Sales and Engineering, and Quality to clarify packing discrepancies.
  • Providing training for new Material Handlers and direction to fellow team members
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities


QUALIFICATIONS:

TECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Skills / Experience with Crane and Forklift an asset ( otherwise Husky will train)
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and verbally, across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple pressing issues at a time
  • Self-starter and team player

EDUCATION

  • Minimum Grade 12 education

RELATED EXPERIENCE

  • 2-5 years of Material Handling experience in a manufacturing environment
