We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable tutors to travel to students’ homes in your neighbourhood for one-on-one tutoring, which involves clarifying and teaching Math concepts aligned with what students are learning in school. Tutors will also be assessing student understanding of knowledge and skills on an ongoing basis.

We are looking for tutors who care about our students’ progress and who can mentor and support them in developing a positive relationship with learning.

Qualifications: (some or all)

• Excellent subject matter expertise
• Previous tutor or teaching experience is considered an asset
• Must have reliable transportation to tutoring sessions [and/or reliable internet connection]
• Must pass a criminal background check

The position is Contract.

Compensation: $20-24/hour
