Mechanical Sub-Assembler (E-Multi) Job at Mold-Masters

Mold Masters is looking for a E-Multi Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Georgetown, Ontario, Canada.
The Mechanical Sub-Assembler E-Multi is responsible for performing operations in preparation, combination, and connection of various components into a sub assembly for the E-MULTI injection machine. The Sub-Assembler is responsible for these sub-assemblies of the machine as well as the multiple tests involved during the assembly. The electrical, heat and pneumatic tests are essential to ensure production meets customer, company, and ISO standards. The test results are given to the customer and are critical to the Mold-Master Warranty

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
· Prepare components by cleaning, deburing, inserting plugs, fittings, motors, pneumatics, electrical connectors, and perform tests, recording the results on the injection unit Assembly Certificate;
· Ensure components and hardware meet correct specifications;
· Prepare sub assemblies and install, torque to specification;
· Ensure components are installed within tolerance limit, and label where required;
· Prepare electrical connectors install wires in corresponding zones as per electrical drawing specifications;
· Conduct electrical tests as required and record results on the E-MULTI Assembly Certificate;
· Prepare pneumatic connectors and feed lines in corresponding circuits as per general assembly drawing;
· Ensure that all machining/assembly tasks are completed in accordance with specified times to meet customer delivery schedule;
· Retro fit and or repair EMulti injection units;
· Conduct minor preventative maintenance procedures as scheduled;
· Complete minor troubleshooting as required;
· Notify Production Supervisor when run times are incorrect or product will not meet timelines;
· Report discrepancies to the Production Supervisor;
· Make recommendations for productivity and/or method improvements;
· Ensure ISO guidelines are followed; follow Job Instruction Sheets and Tag Procedures etc;
Skills/Experience:
· Minimum of one (1) years complex assembly experience, and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Trade Certification would be beneficial for this roll.
