Job Title: Mine Supervisor

The Role:

This position is for various projects in the Sudbury, Ontario region. Legend Mining understands the importance of a stable work environment and a positive work culture. Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:

• 3 years as an underground supervisor with common core and 5-7 years of related work experience
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Working knowledge of underground mining operations
• Leadership qualities including character, teamwork, communication and felt leadership
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment understanding the importance of relationships and the ability to coach and mentor crews to achieve personal and team safety and productivity goals
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Familiarity with computers
• Independent work habits
• Values the importance of helping your team be safe and productive

• Must have Hardrock common core 770121 or Generic Supervisor 770141
