OFA 2 Guard (Security License Required) Job at GuardTeck
Candidates MUST HAVE a valid BC Security Worker License and current Occupational First Aid Level 2 (OFA2) certification to be considered.
Guardteck Security is looking for a friendly, outgoing, and experienced Security Guard with OFA 2 for part-time positions happening in Vancouver, BC.
Wage: $20.00/hr
You will be responsible for patrolling the site, responding to medical incidents, writing reports, and following the policies and procedures of Guardteck and the Client. This position is not limited to one site, you could be working at multiple event locations throughout the week.
Successful candidates will demonstrate effective problem-solving skills, the ability to maintain self-control, and make quick decisions during emergency situations.
Position Requirements:
- Valid Occupation First Aid Level 2 Certificate
- Valid British Columbia security license
- Excellent customer service skills, with previous experience, considered a strong asset
- Comfortable working with a team
- Proficient in the English language (verbal & written)
- Able to complete high-quality reports
- Professional approach to role; acting in a disciplined, honest, and ethical manner
- Emergency response duties, including, but not limited to fire alarms, medical emergencies, and bomb threats
- Frequent patrols of the complex and grounds
- Must be able to follow procedures and set routines effectively
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Must be ready to meet new people and have a great time at work
- Must be a team player, honest, and reliable
