Position Title: Office / HR Administrator

We’re looking for an Office/HR Administrator to join our team full-time at our newly-renovated, modern and open concept office in Burnaby, located near Lougheed Shopping Mall. Easily accessible by Production Way skytrain station with a variety of restaurant options nearby.

You will work collaboratively with a dynamic and passionate team to deliver unparalleled and quality service to our team. You will be a main point of contact for our Director, office team and field technicians to support them in administrative/hr matters.

Your Role

  • Support administrative and office tasks such as maintaining office calendar and scheduling, creating agenda minutes, and day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Maintain customer profiles and database with high-degree of accuracy
  • Streamline internal processes including creating standard operating procedures
  • Coordinate with technicians with registration for professional development courses
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and clients as needed
  • Facilitate full-cycle recruitment, including preparing job postings, candidate search, phone screens, coordinating interviews and reference checks
  • Manage employee on/off boarding and employment change processes; ensuring the accuracy of all employee documentation
  • Benefits administration for employees, including employee education, enrollment and answering inquiries on an ongoing basis
  • Draft employee communications; develop forms and templates to support processes and maintain job descriptions
  • Work collaboratively with Administration on occupational health and safety initiatives
  • Act as back-up support to administration team (customer service and dispatch) handling customer service calls
  • Support with operational project coordination as needed
  • Liaise with IT and Accounting as needed

What You Bring

  • Minimum 3- 5 years of experience in an office-environment or HR experience
  • A Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience with project coordination, process improvements and systems implementation an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to build and maintain positive rapport and trust while maintaining confidentiality
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
