The Transformation & Technology team is looking for a passionate, innovative Oracle Xstore Developer who is seeking a major part in the development and transformative evolution of retail applications. We are seeking a technical leader who can seek and implement imaginative and strategic solutions to large-scale and complex customer problems; one who thrives with ownership and accountability in such an environment. You will be a part of a team that develops and supports leading-edge Retail solutions for our Store Associates.

In this role you will:

• Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines.
• Perform unit and integration testing before launch.
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing.
• Work directly with business intelligence tools and collaboratively with business leaders to understand data and data modeling.
• Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications.
• Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
• Analyze and document the current state before scoping a project, developing strong relationships with key business stakeholders and business analysts.
• Working in an agile environment, document change requests and help plan rollouts within the company.
• Working with Business Analyst to help create business case that include the functional requirements, to determine problem, issue or challenge, scope of the solution and investment to solve.
• Work with internal and third-party resources on scoping methods and projects.

The Qualifications and Experience we like to see:

• MUST HAVE 3+ years’ experience developing and building Xstore solutions with Oracle Retail Xstore Suite
• Must have experience in GIT - Code versioning Tool - Cloud awareness
• 3+ years’ Hands on Java development in the Xstore extension layer for the timely resolution of production bugs and capital enhancement requests
• 3+ years’ experience Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements
• 3+ years’ experience trouble shooting skills for analyzing problem tickets / production issues
• 3+ years’ experience hands-on experience in planning, testing and executing upgrades and patches.
• 3+ years’ experience SQL development skills
• Knowledge of retail POS processes, including customer facing (sales, returns management, promotions, pricing, loyalty, etc.) and back-office (cash management, opening, closing stores)
• Desire to work in a hands-on, fast-paced and challenging environment
