D&H Canada is looking for an energetic Order Picker to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products. You will operate a RF Scanner to build and send appropriate orders.

We need a dedicated warehouse picker to help us distribute essential computer and electronic equipment. Our Brampton location has experienced phenomenal growth for more than a decade! Come join our winning team!

You will be trained to work in order picking / packing. Previous warehouse experience, including the use of RF equipment and forklifts is helpful but not required. Solid work history preferred, but if you are just starting out, a strong work ethic is essential.

Full time position: Monday - Friday – 10:30 am – 7:00 pm

Order Picker duties and responsibilities

• Efficiently pick customer orders
• Locate products using technology (RF Scanners)
• Receive and check incoming pick tickets
• Retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy
• Securely wrapping items before placing in envelopes or boxes
• Ensure that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped
• Use of Warehouse Management system
• Adherence to all safety standards
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions
• Following all company policies

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Lift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend, and stack. Able to stand for long periods of time and walk continuously. Pull merchandise from multiple levels of shelving or move merchandise as needed. Use platform ladders & steppers. Lift up to 45 lbs. Specific weight requirement will vary by order. Must be able to see/scan small manufacturer barcodes. Excellent attention to detail. Diligent and punctual.
