We are looking to fill the position - Outside Sales Manager - Okanagan Region

To be compatible with this position, an applicant must share a positive, "can-do" attitude, a strong work ethic, and must be prepared to support our demanding and passionate clientele, while growing the Business.

Three to five years (minimum) of applicable high-energy, high-demand direct customer service / sales experience is likely needed to become successful. A business degree or continuing education that includes Management, Marketing, Communications.

Experience relating to construction equipment and/or the construction industry is a strong asset.

A successful applicant will already reside in the Kelowna or close to the marketplace,

This position is full time and permanent. The position is paid a base salary plus a commission on personal rental revenue created. All typical benefits are included. The Outside Sales Manager reports directly to the Regional Manager and is expected to be largely self-managing. Liftex Equipment specializes in "High Reach" (telehandlers, scissor lifts, boom lifts, materials handling) equipment.

While product line familiarization and ongoing support are available - this is a position for someone knows how to sell and how to provide exceptional customer service.

The candidate will have to be able to work with a wide range of personality types and satisfy our broad, demanding customer base with exceptional customer service skills. As a long-established operation, our supporting shop and field positions are fully-staffed.
