Ford Motor Company is a multinational automotive manufacturer with production facilities and a dealership network that spans the globe. The Edmonton (LEDUC) parts Distribution Centre services the needs of approximately 180 Ford and Lincoln dealers throughout Western Canada by supplying dealers and their customers genuine Ford parts.

The Ford Motor Company Distribution Centre is located: 3300 – 70th Ave, Leduc, AB T9E 1J9

Purpose of the Position: As a warehouse person you will be part of a team of employees assigned to pick, pack, and ship dealer parts orders.

Position Description: Light to heavy physical labour is required during the performance of the various tasks involved. You will be picking, scanning, labeling, packaging, and containerizing various automotive parts. You will be required to work safely in a fast-paced dynamic environment where quality is key to supporting our dealer network.

Position Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must provide high school diploma or equivalent
• Must provide a background check
• Must successfully pass an online aptitude test
• Must speak and read English and have verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to follow instructions, rules, and regulations is essential.
• A safety-oriented work ethic supported by experience within the labour industry.
• Ability to work as a member of a team or individually.
• The requirement to participate in all contractual, legislative, or corporately mandated training.
• Must be willing to train to operate a forklift or motorized burden carrier (Tug).

Additional Information:

• Employees do not require a vehicle; however, the facility location has limited bus service.
• P/T hours: 24-32hrs per week
• Lunchroom, kitchen, and vending machines onsite.
• Safety shoes are required for this position. Employees are eligible for up to $125.00 towards the purchase of safety shoes.
