Parts Counter Person Job at Northstar Ford
Northstar Ford is looking for an experienced Parts Counter Person to join our Calgary Location!
Pay - $54,000 to $65,000 per year
Responsibilities:
- Selling, ordering and stocking automotive parts
- Respond to incoming phone calls and email inquiries from customers and suppliers
- Take parts orders over the phone and in person as well as proactively assisting customer browsing the store
- Provide Service Technicians with Parts required for repairs
- Coordinates with the service department to ensure smooth delivery of parts
- Efficiently sources parts not found in store
- Conduct regular inventory counts
- Consistently provides excellent customer service
Requirements:
- 1 or more years of direct work experience in an automotive parts or sales capacity.
- Preference will be given to Ford parts experience however we will consider any automotive parts experience an asset
- Has a general understanding of automotive systems and parts.
- Experience and knowledge in Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC) is a must
- Has the ability to use inventory information on a computer screen and can locate parts by checking parts numbers and locating them in the bins.
- Must be alert to sales opportunities by taking the time to ask customers questions and provide information about parts and services.
