Chinook Equipment is looking for a Parts Technician to join our Leduc Branch. The successful candidate will work primarily at the front counter, assisting customers in various parts orders as well as supporting our internal Technicians in getting them the parts they need to ensure overall customer satisfaction. Depending on experience, the successful candidate can expect to earn a salary of $50,000 to $54,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer phones and assist walk-in customers with their parts needs
• Perform parts sales to retail and internal customers and follow-up with all customer phone and message inquiries in a timely manner
• Follow up on all back-ordered and ordered parts and update customers on estimated arrival
• Maintain and grow knowledge on parts for our key BRANDS
• Maintain and grow a strong customer base
• Perform cost effective parts returns
• Assist in yearly inventory counts

Skills and Experience:

• Previous parts counter experience in Construction equipment considered a strong asset, however not necessary
• Parts Apprentices in their 1st to 4th year are welcome to apply!
• Strong computer and mechanical aptitude
• Exceptional organization and communication skills
• High standards on customer service
• Ability to perform in an interrupt, driven environment
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to provide a clear criminal record check
