An ideal candidate will have previous customer service, or preferably previous pharmacy experience. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handling customer inquiries both in person and over the phone in regards to prescription orders and pick ups
• Selecting proper medications to fill prescriptions
• Managing incoming prescription requests via pharmacy management system
• File appropriate documents in the appropriate locations
• Maintain and control the cash register in the dispensary in accordance with cash handling policies and procedures
• Efficiently count or measure, package, and label prescriptions,
• May be required to mix, reconstitute, or compound prescriptions, as directed and supervised by the pharmacist
• Unpack and receive pharmacy totes inside pharmacy in a secure environment
• Maintain proper storage of medications within the pharmacy
• Customer confidentiality and privacy is top priority
• Ensure stock rotation is completed and expired product is removed from the shelf monthly.
• Perform inventory cycle counts.

General/Other Duties*

• Maintain professional image (dress code) and conduct at all time
• Ensure proficiency with Pharmacy System
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and Pharmacist direction, and adhere to all legal requirements, including provincial and federal regulations and bi law
• Maintaining cleanliness of work space

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous pharmacy experience is preferred (basis of starting wage)
• More than one year of customer service experience
• Willingness to learn and ability to learn new things
• Detail oriented in tasks and strict in following given policies and procedures
• Proficient communication skills
• Proficient computer skills (preferably in POS systems)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $16.50-$21.00 per hour
