Project Engineer Job at Engcomp
Job Summary
Your main duties will be project engineering and coordination.
This secondment position is based near Kitimat, BC and is for a one year term with the potential for extension for another two years.
Rotation is 14 days on, 7 off with 12 hour days.
Responsibilities
· Analyze problems and deficiencies, make assumptions, and develop solutions to resolve
· Equipment, fabrication inspections, and commissioning
· Project coordination duties such as tracking and reporting
· Maintain project schedules and budgets, staying aware of project progress
· Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships
· Work at client mine sites and other client facilities
· Other tasks as required to meet client and operational requirements
Qualifications
· Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering OR Mechanical Technologist Diploma
· 1-14 years of experience
· Knowledge of applicable codes and standards
· Effective verbal and written communication skills
· Strong organizational and project planning skills
· People oriented with an ability to establish relationships, credibility, and trust
· Project management experience would be considered an asset
· Safety certifications and training would be considered an asset
· Industrial and on-site experience would be considered an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000.00-$160,000.00 per year
