Levert is presently hiring a RECRUITER for one of our large GOLD MINE clients in Northwestern Ontario. The successful candidate will be working REMOTELY, recruiting for various positions within the mining industry.
Reporting to the Superintendent, HR & Community Relations, the Recruiter is responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent. The position will handle all aspects of full cycle recruitment and will work closely with hiring managers and the HR team to gain a comprehensive understanding of the hiring needs for each position and meet hiring goals and expectations of the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open positions helping management source, hire, and retain quality talent.
- Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available position, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Develop strategies and opportunities to improve attraction of talent with a focus on local and regional communities including First Nations.
- Partner with hiring managers to create detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Screen applications and select qualified individuals for interviews.
- Schedule interviews and prepare interview questions.
- Lead the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the hiring manager and HR during the offer process.
- Ensure compliance with federal and provincial employment laws and regulations and company policies.
- Attend and participate in career fairs and other recruiting events as required.
Qualifications:
- College Diploma in Human Resources or related field is an asset.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in full lifecycle recruitment with experience in mining or heavy industry.
