Kidz Kare Daycare is located in downtown Toronto, across from Union Station, inside of Maple Leaf Square.

Responsibilities:

• Provide age specific childcare
• Provide a caring, safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
• Organizing and engaging in various children's activities
• Meet guidelines laid out in Kidz Kare’s Program Statement
• Assisting with food preparation as requested and agreed upon by the family/company
• Being available for Personal Development Days and Staff meetings organized by the company
• Facilitate developmentally appropriate learning opportunities
• Completing weekly observations
• Compiling written progress reports
• Maintaining weekly records
• Completing weekly program planning
• Acting as role model and providing direction to ECA team members

Requirements:

• ECE Diploma
• Member in good standing of the College of Early Childhood Educators
• Passion for working and educating children in a fun and effective manner
• Knowledge of CCEYA & HDLH
• 2 years experience (minimum) in the field of Early Childhood Education
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Knowledge of how to use Microsoft office programs. (Word, Office, Outlook etc.)
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Open-minded, teachable, dedicated to excellence, driven, creative and organized
• Able to multi-task and work on various projects and meet strict deadlines
• Knowledge of child development
• Current Standard 1st Aid & CPR-C certification
• All health immunizations up to date
• Covid Vaccination (2 doses minimum)
• Ability to obtain clear valid Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screen

Salary: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
