Position Summary
The Retail Specialist is responsible for the daily retail sales and organization at the golf shop. This position requires a person with an outgoing and personable attitude, who works well with internal and external people, and who has past experience in the service industry.
What We Offer
Work is performed in the pro shop environment, as well as outdoors in all types of weather. Shift work is required, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

- Make the first contact with all guests arriving at the golf shop
- Effectively focus on selling, increasing sales on every purchase
- Provide guidance and direction to guests, after completing a sale or checking in
- Receive new stock into POS system
- Ensure the golf shop is clean at all times (floors are clean from debris, shelving is free from dust, all lights are on, etc.)
- Keep informed of all daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly retail budget and targets
- Maintain stock levels on golf shop floor; restocking as necessary
- Knowledge of golf course operations and conditions
- Exemplary communication skills with an emphasis on guest service
- Competent computer skills
- Good knowledge of Whistler
- Strong sales skills
- Previous retail/customer service experience
- Great team player with a sense of fun
