  • Where You Come In

We are looking for Salesforce Administrator to join our team at Make-A-Wish Canada. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the execution of day-to-day support, configuration, and maintenance of our Salesforce environment, related apps, and tools. They will work closely with the business applications team to coordinate on support and project-related tasks. This role will perform record merging, data loading, and record management activities. They will be communicating directly with our end-users in mission, fundraising and operation teams across Canada.
This role is located in the Greater Toronto Area and is a 1 year full-time contract,* hybrid *position.

  • What You Will Do
  • Manage multiple user setup, profiles, roles, security model and permissions, fields, record types, page, layouts, and sharing rules.
  • Supports user community, tracks, and resolves system, process, and data-related issues within set performance metrics.
  • Support onboarding of new employees from a technical perspective.
  • Troubleshoot, problem solve and document system issues.
  • Work with declarative features like workflow rules, flows, approval processes, process builder, escalation rules and assignment rules for complex business process automation.
  • Work with primary Salesforce lead on data loading, cleansing, and migration tasks as required.
  • Supports assessments of Salesforce release updates and stays up to date on Salesforce release features.
  • Supports data management activities including control and audit tasks to support healthy and compliant data.
  • Serves as a supporting system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment, related tools, and integration solutions.
  • Support maintenance of training materials and library.
  • Works in compliance with the provisions of The Occupational Health & Safety Act in the applicable province of employment and its regulations and complies with the Foundation’s Health & Safety Policy.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • What You Bring
  • Post-secondary education in an information technology-related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience required.
  • 2+ years of work experience in a system administrator role responsible for directly supporting users a Salesforce environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in loading data into the Salesforce environment.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification required (CRT101).
  • Technical understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to administrate custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity.
  • Experience with Salesforce Classic user interface and migration to Lightning is an asset.
  • Proficient in Office 365 with intermediate-level skills in Excel.
  • Experience in the following technologies is an asset: Salesforce NonProfit Success Pack (NPSP), CauseView, Apsona, Demand Tools, and Form Assembly.
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
  • Experience with nonprofit processes preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests.
  • Logical, process-oriented thinker with ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply to business challenges.
  • Ability to communicate both written and orally in English; French is an asset.
  • A clear Criminal Background Check required.
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at least 14 days prior to their first day of work, subject to relevant accommodations or exemptions.
  • Your Work Environment
  • Hybrid work environment (2 days per week in-office) with occasional requirements to work outside of regular office hours.
  • Occasional day/overnight travel.
